The SCBA Master Beekeeping Program supported by the Clemson Apiculture & Pollinator Program and hosted by the Blackwater Beekeepers Association is excited to announce an in-person October Journeyman Course!
This Journeyman Course offers 2 full days of in-person instruction taught by certified Journeyman and Master Beekeepers who have proven experience and proficiency according to the criteria established by the SC Master Beekeeper Program.
The purpose of the Journeyman Course is to prepare aspiring Journeyman beekeepers to pass the test to achieve Journeyman Level certification and advance through the SC Master Beekeeper Program, however it may also be beneficial to an established beginning beekeeper who is ready for a challenge as well as an experienced Journeyman Level beekeeper aspiring a review prior to progressing to the Master Level.
Registration is now open for Certified Level beekeepers who are eligible to test on the Journeyman Level. If you are not eligible, but are interested, please contact the MBP at MBP@scstatebeekeepers.com and request to be placed on the waiting list.
Dates: Friday, October 22 – 10am-5pm (Classroom)
Saturday, October 23 – 9am-5pm (Classroom)
Saturday, October 30 – 1-4pm (Review & Testing)*
Location: Horry County Extension 1949 Industrial Park Rd Conway, SC 29526
Course Fee: $125 ALL INCLUSIVE!
Includes: 2 full days of in-person instruction, Materials/Handouts, Lunch Fri/Sat, and
Journeyman Testing either Oct 30, 2021 or at the Spring Conference on February 25, 2022*

All credits must be submitted to the MBP no later than Monday, October 25 in order to test October 30th and submitted no later than Friday, February 11, 2022 in order to test February 25, 2022 (Spring Conference).
