- Additional InformationTaking a beekeeping course does not in any way guarantee success in raising honeybees, but it does increase your odds. Honeybees are considered livestock and are subject to changes in conditions on a regular basis. Your success with raising honeybees will be dependent on many factors, including weather. It is in our best interest to prepare you for success, because your success directly affects the success of our hives and the health of our honeybees. No children under the age of 12. No minors under the age of 18 without a paying adult sponsor in attendance.

- Included in the $65 fee for the class is; the Spring 2025 Beginning Beekeeper’s Course, 1-Individual membership to the WBA Beekeeper’s Association, and 1- book. For the $75 fee, 2-Individual (living in the same household) memberships to the WBA, and one textbook.
