“It’s All About That Queen!”

The honeybee QUEEN will be our central focus, featuring sessions on queen anatomy, queen reproduction, and various methods of queen rearing.  Focus will also be on factors that affect the health of the queen and overall colony management as well as an emphasis on Women in Beekeeping.  There will be a Beek Bash BBQ cookout with our first ever “Beek Olympics” and a variety of presentations, discussions, workshops, hands-on activities in a working bee yard, Honey Show, and Vendor Fair. 

New beekeepers will be interested in attending our special session “A Quick Start Guide to a Successful 1st Year of Beekeeping”.
